AMAZING the way we build the anti-twitter platform just to behave like twitter users in the anti-twitter space
just like the AMAZING way everyone has migrated over to Lemmy just to behave like Redditors in the anti-Reddit space
change of venue is not magical. we have picked up bad habits, we have learned toxic attitudes and assumptions, and when we fail to challenge those bad habits and toxic attitudes/assumptions, we are wasting this opportunity to build something better - we waste the time and effort of the techies who develop these spaces.
the technical features cannot fix our attitudes. we have to do it, each of us and all of us. computers can’t reflect. we can but we’re not. this is not good.
